read up on a thread about iphone4 last night stalking for SH’s stocks. &to my pleasant surprise i got to know that ST is selling the phone online. sick of waiting, i decided to stick to ST& sign up for the phone online. (sidetrack, I just realised that I can recontract ever since 4 nov 2009 -___-)
then the drama came when i want to offset $100 using my mobile voucher (which stated that i can use it online) but I was unable to.
communicated with a total of 5 CSOs (customer service officer) and asked why was i unable to use my voucher.
1st CSO: The $100 will be offset automatically at the very last step of your purchase
(followed his instructions, up till the very last step, still did not manage to offset the $100)
2nd CSO: Your voucher can only be use in the stores. You cannot make online purchases with that. Please walk-in to our stores.
(re-read the mailer ST sent & it states that i can use it online as well)
Me: What’s the point of stating in the letter that I can use this $100 online when I actually can’t?
3rd CSO: Sorry, some people can, some people cannot.
Me: Possible to do anything about it?
3rd CSO: Sorry its all in the system, we can’t do anything
Me: Anyone else that I can speak to to help me with this?
3rd CSO: Sorry, there’s no one you can speak to. Please walk-in to our stores and make your purchase over the counter.
Me: Are you telling me that I have to go down and queue for an iphone4?
3rd CSO: Yes that’s right
(unsatisfied with her answer, i decided to call again)
4th CSO: I understand that you are under 21 and have a guarantor that’s why you are unable to recontract online. You have to walk-in to our store to make the purchase.
(thought that answer was at least a decent one but still not satisfied)
Me:If I’m under 21 and have my dad as a guarantor will I be able to recontract online?
5th CSO: Yes you may. (@#&!@# who tell me cannot!)
Me: Will I be able to offset the $100 online as well?
5th CSO: Yes it will automatically be deducted when you checkout
Me: It doesn’t show when I press the checkout button
5th CSO: I’m afraid that you have to walk in to our store and make your purchase over the counter (@^@#$ stop asking me to walk in. don’t have all the time to queue that’s why i want to purchase online!!)
Me: As you have mentioned, it is possible for me to do so online. Is there an error, can you check?
5th CSO: Sorry I’m unable to check if there is any error or not
Me: Can you get someone who is able to check for me if there is any error with this?
5th CSO: Please give me a moment, I will check for you.
5th CSO: The Mobile CSO will give you a call in 3 working days. Please prepare a photocopy of your guarantor IC
Me: Hope to receive your call ASAP. thanks.
6th CSO: Hi, as you are above 18, you are not required for a copy of your guarantor’s IC.
tell me what is this, at first say yes, then say no. say no already, must press then say yes. so disappointing! but at last! getting my phone on monday <3
they just gotta aggravate the condition of a sick patient :c shoo you flu bug!
